COSHH
C stands for chemicals. chemicals must be stored away in cupboards. they must be fuuly labelled and only appoached by trained staff.

RIDDOR
have to report any accideents to the council. you four stages = 1) death or serious injury. 2) loss of time injury (3 days off work). 3) reportable diseases. 4) serious but no one hurt.

give right equipment for what people are doing. eg: life jacket or harness.

give frequent breaks to jobs using computers and do eye tests every so often

childrens act
safe equipment. a ration of 1:8 (adults:children) for u8's children. all staff have to be DBS checked for criminal records.

data protection act
personal info must be secured. data must be password protected.

working time regulations
you can workl a maximumk of 48 hours a week but can work more if you agree to. must have 11 hour break inbetween shifts. under 18s need a 30 min break every 4 1/2 hours at work. adults need a 20 mins break per 4 1/2 hours
