Outline the process if a notifiable disease is suspected:
Call the DEFRA helpline and report it; APHA will investigate premises and inform restrictions, If vet suspects notifiable disease present they will carry out sampling, APHA will then apply restrictions (Temp control zone) until invest is complete

Outline the process if a notifiable disease is confirmed:
Appropriate action will be taken on premises: culling of animals, in order to prevent transmission; premises are thoroughly cleaned ad disinfected, gov assess where disease originated from and the likelihood of transmission and apply restrictions.
