the dependence between two or more people, groups or things which rely on each other.

the growth and spread of ideas,businesses etc on a global or worldwide scale, making the world more connected.

What is a TNC?
Trans-national company that does business in several countries.

What is it meant by Brain Drain?
This is where we are we taking qualified doctors for example, from Ledc's such as India. They come over here for a better life and we give them the support they need.

What is a Trade Bloc?
Its a trading partnerships between countries.They have allowed trading freely and are allowing free movement of people between their countries.

What are primary Goods?
Natural products like Coca beans or bananas that come from the earth.

what are manufactured goods?
Products that are made by machinery or produced, such as cars.

What does it mean by "Trade surplus"?
Where the export rates are higher than the Import.

What does it mean by "Trade deficit"?
Where the import rates are higher than the export

what are tariffs?
Taxes imposed on imports, which make foreign goods more expensive to the consumer.

What are Quotas?
Limits on the amount of goods imported and usually work in MEDC's favour.

Payments made by a government to a producer in its country.

What is Free Trade?
The trade that takes place without any limits or controls.

1. It improves roads and airports 2. Education and skills improve

1. Hospitals in LEDCs have low moral 2. Money spent in an LEDC on uni level education is not converted into skilled workers who pay tax.
