1) All babies who crawled off the board went onto the shallow side at least once 2). 3 crawled ‘off the cliff’ 3). Most crawled away from the cliff side when called 4). Some cried when mothers were on the cliff side (they could not get to her)

5)Chicks aged 24 hours old crawled off the board on the shallow side 6)Kids + Lambs tested as soon as they could stand did not step onto cliff side 7) Kittens demonstrated good depth discrimination from 4 wks old

8)Kittens reared in the dark crawled or fell of the board equally on both sides, but once exposed to light they showed a preference for the shallow side

1) Both nature + nurture influence the development of depth perception 2)Some depth cues i.e- motion parallax are innate 3)Some are learned such as relative size 4)Humans +animals have developed some depth perception by the onset of mobility.
