What do the ghosts wear?
Masks which dehumanises them, body paint which enhances creepy ghost-like character + shows movement. Wear strips of fabrics around waist, elbows + knees

Circular skirts ehance movement. Costume represent age, gender + status and are ragged to represent death.

What happens in the lighting?
Changes when someone dies which in turn provides structure. Makes the piece creep and tunnel of light which dancers move towards representing death. All of the lighting enhances the theme.

Accompaniment?
Chilean panpipes add geographic location. Dripping water repeated at each death. Fades in when villagers arrive
