Stresemann introduced new currency- Rentenmark. It stablisied the currency and German people showed confidence in it.

US loans. Helped to pay reperations and greatly helped German industry.

Rentenmark converted to Reichsark (backed with gold). Gradually helped restore the value of Germany money.

1924
Stresemann negotiated the Dawes Plan with the USA. Reorganised and reduced reparations. The French withdrew from the Ruhr.

Locarno Pact. Improved relations with Britain and France and guaranteed borders with Belgium, France and Italy.

1926
Stresemann negotiated German entry to the League of Nations. Meant that Germany was recognised as a great power once again.

1928
Kellogg-Briand Pact. Germany was one of 62 countries that agreed to settle disputes peacefully. This wasn't a Stresemann initiative but meant better relations with the USA and France.

Young Plan. Set timescale and reduced reparations. France agreed to leave the Rhineland early.
