The end of World War 1 and the Armistice was signed.

The Spartacist Revolution/Uprising. Which is also known as the Communist Uprising. The uprising was crushed by the freikorps.

The Treaty of Versailles was signed. Also known as the 'Peace Treaty' that ended WW1.

The Kapp Putch (the right wing coup). This was defeated by a general strike.

Invasion and Inflation: Weimar Republic nearly collapsed, the Invasion of the Ruhr (in January), a passive resistance and Hyperinflation.

The Munich Putch, which was also known as the 'Beerhall Putch'. This was when the Nazi uprising failed.

The Dawes Plan. This was when the USA loaned Germany 800 million Marks.

The Young Plan. This was where reparations were reduced.

The Wall Street Crash. This was where the shares collapsed in USA and they demanded their loans back. This triggered the Great Depression.

6 million people became unemployed. Also the Nazi's supported 37%.

Hindenburg made Hitler Chancellor of Germany.

What happened in 1933 on February the 27th?
The Reichstag Fire. This was when there was an Arson Attack on the building in which Germany's parliament sat. Hitler blamed the start of the fire on Communists and a communist woman was thrown in jail on suspicion of starting the fire.

What happened in 1933 on March the 23rd?
The Enabling Act. Which gave Hitler the power to rule Germany without the Reichstag.

What happened in 1933 on July the 20th?
The Concordat. This was when there was an agreement with Catholic churches.

What happened in 1934 on June the 30th?
The Night of the Long Knives. This was when political opponents of Hitler were murdered. Eg: Rohm, the Leader of the SA.

What happened in 1934 on September the 15th?
The Nuremburg Laws. This deprived German Jews of their rights of citizenship and gave Jews the status of 'subjects' in Hitler's Reich.

The New Plan ends. Schacht is removed and Goering starts the Five Year Plan.
