Damage by vehicles, trampling of the vegetation by visitors, rubbish left by visitors, dog fouling

Posts and fences used to show where vehicles can not go. These work, but can be visual pollution

How is trampling of vegetation dealt with?
Building wooden boardwalks- these work and are attractive

Operating a bring in-take out policy. This, however, relies on people's cooperation.

People banned from walking their dogs on beaches in the summer months. This causes no damage to the environment and has no cost.
