How is an arch formed?
If a cave is formed in a headland, it may eventually break through to the other side, creating an arch

How is a stack formed?
If an arch collapses, a stack is formed

How is a stump formed?
If a wave-cut notch attacks the stack, it structure will become weaker and it will collapse and a stump is formed
