How might global warming impact on the developing world?
Warm weather would lead to the spread of the Sahara Desert (desertification) onto areas of farmland, heat waves could bring more illness and death, less and more unreliable rainfall,Sea levels could rise by over 50cm – 10% of the Nile Delta would flood

How might global warming impact on the developing world?
7 million people would become environmental refugees,The loss of land and rainfall would also hit farming. Less food would be produced, possibly leading to famine.

Natural Causes of Climate Change
Orbital - The first way is that the Earth’s orbit is sometimes circular and follows more of an oval motion. Then, the Earth’s axis tilts and changes. Also, the Earth wobbles and when it wobbles it alters how much sunlight the earth receives

Other Natural Causes of Climate Change
Sunspots - Lots of sunspots means more solar energy from the sun towards earth, meaning the temperature goes up. Eruption - Produces ash and sulfur dioxide. The ash and gas in the stratosphere stops sunlight reaching earth. This cools down the earth.

Air Mass
An air mass is a large volume of air which travels from one area to another. The weather an air mass brings is determined by the region it has come from and the type of surface it has moved over.
5 of 12
Describe how one human activity can contribute to climate change. (2)
Using cars as this burns fossil fuels which contributes to global warming so it would contribute to climate change as it would be making the Earth warmer.
6 of 12
Describe one impact of short-term climate change on people. (2)
There could be illnesses such as heat-stroke and skin cancer. These illnesses are common with countries nearer the equator.

Explain how human activity is leading to climate change
Using cars as this burns fossil fuels which contributes to global warming so it would be making the Earth warmer. Also, nitrous oxide is produced from jet engines, cars, lorries, fertilisers and sewage farms which contributes to the greenhouse effect
8 of 12
More on how human activity is leading to climate change
Halocarbons are produced in industry, solvents and cooling equipment which also makes the Earth warmer and therefore contributes to global warming.
9 of 12
Potential Positive Impacts of Climate Change
The growing season in some areas will increase. This is a benefit to places such as the UK as more crops could be grown
10 of 12
Potential Negative Impacts of Climate Change
There could be more illnesses such as heat-stroke and skin cancer. These illnesses are common with countries nearer the equator. Coastal land is at risk, especially land on deltas.Sea defences are under more stress.
11 of 12
More Potential Negative Impacts of Climate Change
Locations suffering from water stress will increase.Less fresh water will be available in coastal areas as it will mix with sea water, which is salty.
