National park
A large area of national land protected by the government because of its natural beauty, plants and animals

A link of wildlife habitat, normally native vegitation, which joins 2 or more larger areas of similar wildlife habitat

The gradual invasion of bushes due to lack of management

Found where there is a ridge of permeable rock lying over impermeable rock; with a line of springs along the boundary, between the two layers

Erosion
The wearing away and removal of material by a moving face, such as a river, a breaking wave or a glacier

Material such as mud, sand and pebbles carried and deposited by rivers or waves

Rock that are permeable, like chalk, allow water to pass through them

Rock that are impermeable, like clay, don't allow water to pass through them
