Hydraulic action?
This is the erosion that occurs when the motion and sheer force of the water chips away at the cliff base, This can create various different landforms from caves to arches to sea stacks. These happens regularly at holderness as seen through ex

Abrasion?
Abrasion is the process in which the sediment from the cliff is hurled back at it which then creates more sediment to fall from the cliff and this process is constantly repeated.
2 of 6
Attrition?
Attrition is the process in which the sediment is eroded against itself which creates smaller rounder smoother sediment which is also known as pebbles, these can be used to form beaches which are also known as pebbly beaches as opposed to a sand beac

Sub Ariel processes?
Weathering- decay and distinergration of rock in situ
4 of 6
Freeze-thaw weathering
Freeze thaw weathering is where water finds it way into a crack, it then begins to freeze and over time thaw, This repeatedly happens and expands the crack and can combine with various other processes to increase the rate of erosion.
5 of 6
Chemical weathering
This is where acid rain and other factors can affect the integrity of the rock, This can then increase the rate of erosion as the rock becomes weaker and is more susceptible to processes such as hydraulic action.
