What is the human development index?
Measurement of wealth using education (adult literacy rate), wealth (GDP) and health (life expectancy).

The average life span a person can expect to live to in a country

The number of children who die before their first birthday

The percentage of the population that can read and write

The action or process of setting among and establishing control over the idigenous people of an area

A large company which operates in countries all over the world.

Large scale aid is given to the government of a developing country so they can spend it on the projects needed.

What is bottom-up aid?
Small scale projects target the people most in need of aid and are helped directly without any government interference. This is normally aid from charities

It measures the extent to which countries deliver loong, happy sustainable lives for the people who live in them
