really good quiz but...

question 24 what makes a river flow downstream, surely its the gradient of the land not gravity as gravity is the same anywhere on earth and is actually only keeping the water on the ground instead of the air, but if its a steep landscape the water will flow down and it only gets flat in the lower course but due to the immense volume of water flowing down stream from the upper course it will push this water down as well :)

just wondering it seems like common sense that the gradient would make it flow not gravity but if im wrong please tell me and give me evidence, its just so i dont get it wrong in the exam and it doesnt confuse anyone else doing the quiz  :D
