What is Current?
The flow of charge (electrons) round the circuit
1 of 6
What is voltage?
The driving force that pushes the current around
2 of 6
What is resistance?
Anything in a circuit that reduces the current
3 of 6
How is resistance caused in a conductor?
In a metal conductor the electrons collide with the metal atoms causing the atoms to vibrate.
4 of 6
In a variable resistor, if you increase the resistance what happens to the current?
The current drops
5 of 6
In a variable resistor, if you decrease the resistance what happens to the current?
The current goes up
