Interval and high intensity training - what is it and what does it train?
Cardiovascular endurance and speed depending on the type. Alternating between world and rest. Shirt intense work in the anaerobic training zone and active recovery in the aerobic training zone.

What is long interval training?
Working from 15 seconds to 3 minutes with equal length recovery

What is short interval training?
Working for up to 15 seconds. Close to maximum heart rate and longer recovery periods.
