What is the function of the plasma?
The plasma is a liquid that carries nutrients, such as glucose, and oxygen and it carries waste, such as carbon dioxide and urea. It also caries hormones and antibodies.

What two things make a red blood cell special?
They don't have a nucleus meaning they are packed full with haemoglobin, a substance that binds with oxygen.. They are also a biconcave shape giving them a larger surface area for exchanging oxygen more easier.
