2 of 11
Which fossil fuel releases the most CO2?
Coal
3 of 11
Name 6 renewable energy sources?
Tidal, Hydro Electric Power, Solar, Geothermal, Wave, Wind
4 of 11
What 2 resources are renewable and non renewable?
Wood and Biomass
5 of 11
Give an advantage and disadvantage of Solar Energy?
A - It creates no pollution D - They dont work at night
6 of 11
What is the process of the greenhouse effect?
Sun's rays enter earths atmosphere. Heat is emitted back. Some heat goes back into space. Other is abosrbed by reenhouse gases. Earth gets hotter.
7 of 11
Why don't greenhouse gases absorb the heat on the way in?
The heat comes in at long wave lenghts and is sent back with short.
8 of 11
What is the process of the Carbon Cycle?
CO2 enters the air by combustion and resperation. It is extracted by photosynthesis. Then transferred to animals who consume the plants. Animals excrete. Plants and animals die. They decompose sending it back in the air.
