Turkey rebelled against their Greek Sultan, and drove the Greeks from Asia Minor, when they reached the British forces at Dardenelles, LG wanted to issue them an ultimatum to withdraw their forces, however Harrington ignored this order and made peace

Lloyd George was accused of 'selling peerages', accepting political donations in exchange for honours. In July 1922 three 'disreputable characters' were awarded peerages. Tories complained the most, although they'd accepted money from the LG Fund
