Yes, because netball needs opponents to change direction at speed, in order to dodge, lose or mark opponents. It is a vital component of fitness for a netball player.

Equipment:appropriate weights/resistance machine. Lift a weight once using the correct technique. If completed attempt a heavier weight until the heaviest weight the individual can possibly lift once is found.
