Semantically similar words harder to recall than semantically dissimilar words- Also, acoustic similarity only had slight detrimental effect on accuracy of recall

Semantically similar recall 55% correct, other conditions 70% correct

Showed participants over 600 memorable photos one at a time- various stages after gave them pairs of pics and asked them to identify the ones that had been shown initially

2 hours after recognition almost perfect, over following months steadily dropped to 58%

Asked 392 former high school students of various ages to recall info about other students of the school

Bahrik's results
On identification of names and faces, those within 15 years of graduation were 90% accurate- within 48 years of graduation recall was 70% accurate
