What is a file?
A set of records put together.

An individual entry in a file.

Each separate piece of information inserted in the record.

What is a key field?
The field in which no two values are ever the same thus serves as an identifying value field.

A collection of data held in a number of tables where links are created to connect the data in different tables to each other.

They field that links two files together and creates the relationship between them.

What are wildcards?
A search tool used to search through text fields. An asterisk is used to represent one or more characters in a string of text, and a question mark is used to represent a single character.
