Reduced manual jobs. Those jobs that where few skills are needed have been replaced by computers or robots

ICT has changed the way that jobs are done. People are being forced to learn how to use ICT to get jobs done like pay bills etc.
Job lost as more and more tasks being done by computers.

Widens the gap between those who have access to ICT & the Internet as some people have to pay more for goods if they can't buy online.
De-skills certain jobs. E.g. typist used to be a skilled job now the wide use of wordprocessors means professional looking documents can be created with basic knowledge.

Blurs the distinction between home & work. With the use of mobile devices are people ever away from work. Can cause family conflicts.
Reduced social interactions due to more and more jobs now becoming mobile. As people don't need to go to the office anymore people are unable socialise with work mates.

People lose the true face to face interactions as more and more e-mail, chatrooms, social media & instant messaging become the norm.
Changes in leisure time. As jobs move away from the traditional 9 to 5. People have to work some unsocial hours hence it hard to fit in family life etc.

Change of custom from writing letters to now keeping in touch via e-mail and social media.
Sending text messages rather then ringing each other.

People not taking much notice of copyright laws as copying is easily done.
I can now watch the programmes I want and when I want I am no longer bound by watching TV in broadcast order.

People now have more access to more information such as different religion etc.
I don't need to buy CD's or cassettes etc. anymore. I can download the music I want.

ECONOMIC Factors
Many companies relocate some of the jobs abroad as labour and equipment are cheaper in other countries.

Mor jobs that can be given to ICT or robots helps to reduce wage bills,
GPS systems allow faster routes to destinations to be used meaning we spend less on fuel.

As unskilled jobs are reduced means that more people become skilled hence making the economic prospects of a country better.
As shops can now be on line they can reach more customers even accross the other side of the world. Meaning that their finaces get better.
