Immediate Addressing
Used for constant values, does not contain an address but a operand, Used in assembly language, Uses data in address fields, as a constant
1 of 5
Direct Addressing
Most common method, uses data in the address field without modification, limits the memory locations that can be addressed
2 of 5
Indirect Addressing
Uses the address field as a pointer, memory location is in a register, address specifies register,
3 of 5
Relative Addressing
Allows a real address to be calculated from a base address, by adding the offset to the base
4 of 5
