Evolution and Aggression STRENGTH- Dobash and Dobash (1984)
Found that sexual jealousy could lead to violence against women. Suggesting that male aggression may be a trait that has evolved to ensure the survival of their genes.

Found that men tended to 'give in' to women, as well as threatening other males around if their relationship was threatened. Both strategies would be useful for the survival of their genes.
