What is meant by underweight?
To be classed as underweight the persons body weight is considered as too low to be healthy

Poor physical stamina, weak immune system- leaving them open to infection

What is meant by annorexia?
Eating disorder characterised by immoderate food restriction and fear of gaining weight, as well as a distorted body image

What does annorexia involve?
Excessive weight loss, usually found in females

What problems can anorexia cause?
Growth-height gain may slow and can stop completely, heart disease or death

What is meant by overweight?
Generally defined as having more body fat than is optimally healthy, overweight can be due to muscle

What problems can overweight cause?
Alcoholism, eating disorders, insufficient or poor quality sleep, limited physical exercise, poor nutrition, overeating, stress, metabolic disorders

What is meant by overfat?
A condition of having more than a healthy amount of body fat. This is determind by measuring your percentage body fat

High blood pressure, strokes, heart attacks

What is meant by obesity?
Obesity is a medical condition in which excess body fat has accumulated to the extent that it may have an adverse effect on health
