What is the Central Nervous System?
It includes the brain and spinal cord. It allows the brain to receive messages from the nerves and allows information to be transferred around the body.

What is the difference between the left hemisphere and the right hemisphere?
Left side controls language and linguistics (speech, comprehension and time & sequencing). The right side controls creativity (spatial ability, perception and recognition of faces/places and objects).

What is the corpus callosum?
It joins the 2 hemispheres together and allows them to communicate.

What is a PET scan?

A computer to create detailed images of the inside of the body.

Measures brain activity by detecting changes associated with blood flow.
