Anti Psychotics STRENGTH- Emsley (2008)
Found that those who took the anti psychotic risperidone early into the disorder had high remission rates and low relapse rates.

Found that haloperidol improves symptoms and some new drugs show improvement compared with a placebo.

Found that risperidone (a second gen drug) had fewer side effects than haloperidol (a first generation drug). Also risperidone group = 42% relapse/ haloperidol = 55% relapse rate.
