children who eat too much fatty foods won't be getting the nurtients they need to grow and develop. Diets high in sugar, salt and fat can lead to health problems such as obesity, diabetes and heart disease.

Children who lack clean clothes and whose parent's do not set good examples for personal hygiene are at a risk of diseases from germs that can spread through cross infection. Children may also get exluded from playing with other children.
