The reading paper lasts for 1 hour and you will read two non fiction texts. There will be 4 questions each worth 10 marks
Examples of non fiction texts are a leaflet, web report, magazine article etc.

First Question
Answer the question, tracking though the texts focusing on the bits you have underlined. Try to be methodical and systematic

The second question is likely to be a "thoughts and feelings question"
Begin sentences with, he or she feels and dont forget to quote

Aim to write half a side to a side of A4 per question
Spend 10-12 minutes on a question

Third question, text B Often a How question or one about persuasive devices
Avoid writing, "it make you want to read on," Commenting on sentence length or punctuation and spending too long on visual parts

content, language, approach, headlines, tone and structure.
