What is The Court?
The Court is made up of noblemen who acted as the monarchs advisors. They helped to display the wealth and power of the monarch. Members could also be part of The Privy council.

Justices of the peace are large landowners appointed by government, who kept law and order locally and heard court cases.

the Parliament advised Elizabeth's government, made up of the House of Lords and the House of Commons, Parliament passed laws and approved taxes.

the Lord Lieutenants were noblemen, appointed by government, who governed English counties and raised local militia

The Privy council were members of the nobility who helped govern the country. They monitored Parliament, JOP's and oversaw law and order and the security of the country.
