Advisers and friends- display her wealth and power.

What and Who were Justices of Peace?
Large Landowners who kept law and order locally.

What and who were Lord lieutenants ?
Noblemen , were in charge of the arms and raised the local militia.

What and who were The Secretary of State?
The most important privy councillor, closest to Elizabeth advised her with anything related to the crown.

What and who were The Monarch?
ELIZABETH!!!!!! Right to rule by 'the Grace of God' (divine right)

What and who were the Parliament?
Made up of the House of Lords and House of Commons. Lords were noblemen and bishops. House of commons were elected. The Parliament passed laws and approved taxes.

What and who were The Privy Council?
Closest advisers, members of the nobility who helped govern the country. They were all men but could be fired. They monitored the Parliament, JoP, Oversaw law and order and the security of the country.
