What are the dangers of X-rays and Gamma rays?
Cause mutations to the DNA of body cells which can kill the cell or cause cancer

To look inside objects (including people and luggage in airport security)

To sterilise food and medical equipment, to detect/treat cancer

Damage skin cells causing sunburn, large amounts of exposure can cause skin cancer and damage to eyes
