what is charge?
charge comes in two general types:positive and negative.when two objects have the type of charge they guve a repulsion when they are close together. when two objects have different charges then they attract to eachother when they are close together.

what is current?
current is the flow of electrical charge. a current flows when electrons move through a conductor such as a metal. is is measured with an ammeter and its units are amps(A)
2 of 8
what is potential difference?
potential difference is often called voltage o electromotive force. it is measured with a voltmeter and its units anre volts(V). the voltmeter only works when it is paralell to the component.
3 of 8
what is resistance?
resistance is the opposition in an electrical component to the movement of electrical charge through it. it is measured in ohms.
4 of 8
what are the colours of the wires in a plug, what are their namesand where are they in a plug?
earth wire-green and yellow-middle live wire-brown-right. nuetral wire- blue-left
5 of 8
what is ohms law?
the current in a circuit between the points a and b is directly proportional to the voltage betweenpoints a and b and inversely proportional to the resistance between the points.
6 of 8
what is diect current?
when current only flows in one direction.
7 of 8
what is alternating current?
when the constantly changes direction.
