Tony Sewell - Ethnicity
Argues that Black boys in particularly are grown in mother headed lone parent families therefore lacking male role models. Also they are not disciplined properly. This makes them vulnerable to peer pressure and form Anti-school subcultures.

Did a study in Kilby School and found Black students punished harshly, formed Anti-school subcultures. This is good explanation as the study was done to find the experiences of black pupils.
