A population is a group of interbreeding organisms of one species in a habitat

A niche describes how an organism fits into the environment, A niche refers to where an organism lives and what it does there. This includes both biotic and abiotic factors.

A self contained functional nit in ecology made up all of the biotic and abiotic factors.

The range and variety of living organisms within a particular area.
