Harvey proved Galen wrong as he showed that blood pumped around the body rather than being replenished every day.

Pare proved Galen wrong as he showed that ligatures was the best way to close the wound. this is different to Galen who said that cauterisation was the best way to close the wounds.

Vesalius was an anatomist who proved galen wrong by showing that the human body is very different to that of a different animal. he also showed that(contrary to galen) humans only have one joint at the jaw.
