What is a stimulant and some examples?
Stimulants make you feel alert. Many of them are addictive- caffeine, nicotine, cocaine

Depressants slow down you reactions- alcohol, heroine

What is a hallucinogen and some examples?
Hallucinogens changes the way you hear and see things. They make music and colours more intense but can cause panic attacks- Cannabis/ Marijuana, acid, magic mushrooms

What are some examples of medicinal drugs?
Aspirin, Ibuprofen

What effect does cannabis have on your body?
It makes you relaxed and talkative and makes music and colours more instense. It can also cause panic attacks. Cannabis smoke contains more toxins than smoke and regular users have more lung damage

What effect does alcohol have on your body?
Slows down your reactions and makes you more agressive and more likely to take risks. Binge drinking makes you more likely to get liver damage or heart disease

Men- 4 units, Women- 3 units

It is very harmful to your health- it causes lung cancer and increases your risk of heart disease.

-As embyros develop, their stem cells sense where they are and what sort of cells to produce. It is hard to make them do this when they are transplanted into an adult. -Patients need to take drugs to stop immune system from attacking the new cells

Sometimes the stem cells wont stop dividing- so a cancer form which can kill, embryos are used in research, stem cell therapy is still experimental
