What is the order of the illegal drug classes?
Class a (most dangerous and heavily penalised.), Class b, Class c (dangerous, but less than class a or b drugs. Least heavy penalties.)

What are the different types of drugs?
Depressants, Stimulants, Hallucinogens, Performance enhancers and Painkillers.

How do depressant drugs work?
Depressant drugs bind with the receptor molecules of the neurone which blocks the transmission of nerve impulses from one neurone to another.

How do stimulant drugs work?
They cause more neurotransmitter substances to cross synapses.

What are Cilia?
They are tiny hairs found in the epithelial lining of the trachea, bronchi and bronchioles.

What is a smoker's cough the result of?
The dust and particles in cigarette smoke collecting and irritating the epithelial lining/ mucus not being moved by damaged Cilia.

What is the alcoholic content of alcoholic drinks measured in?
Units of alcohol.

What does drinking alcohol increase?
Reaction time and risk of accidents.

What is cirrhosis or the liver?
Damage of the liver due to excessive breakdown of toxins, such as alcohol.
