How did you use your facial expression in the 'school' scene?
Whilst I played the character of Abby whilst she was at school I had to generally frown, also I had to look at the ground as if I was nervous.

In the home scene I showed a mixture of happy, sad and angry. I smiled when I first saw my mum, I frowned when my dad shouted at me but I gritted my teeth when my dad shouted at the mum character.

I kept a straight face as I was professional, also I kept my head pointed slightly up to show snobbishness.

As at this point I was hearing voices my eyes darted around and I generally had a straight face as I had lost all feeling by now.

When I was sad I hunched over, played with the straps on my bag and looked at the floor

I opened up my body language and looked at the person I was talking to, this showed interest.

I clenched my fists and gritted my teeth, I glared at whichever character I was angry at and my body language was closed.

I lifted my head slightly up and used a lot of hand gestures to symbolise control. I stood up straight and kept my body language open.

How did you create the mood?
We wanted quite a sad lonely mood throughout the piece. To do this we sometimes used soft, sad voices and sometimes if we wanted to add shock we shouted to get the audiences attention.

How did you change your character when you multi-rolled?
I used different props, for example when I played the character of Abby I wore a schoolbag, whereas when I was the social worker I held a clipboard and wore glasses.
