Chapter 5 - incident of the letter
utterson confronts Jekll and finds him sick and distraught. he assures Uttersons he will never see Hyde again.and shows him the letter apparently from hyde saying he can escape.

Utterson shows the letter to Mr guest, who is a handwriting expert. comparing it with a note from jekyll, guest noticews that the two samples of writing are very similar.' looking deathly sick
