What do the conditions of your marriage have to be to get a divorce?

What are the 5 grounds of divorce?
Adultery. Unreasonable behaviour. Desertion. Lived a part for more than two years. Lived a part for more than five years.

Why is divorce not welcomed in the Old Testament? (2)
In Malachi God says 'I hate divorce'. Moses taught that divorce was permitted if he found out something indecent about his wife.

It is wrong and that the rules in the Old Testament are not strict enough.

Will the Church of England allow someone with a divorce to remarry?
They decided that they can.

What does the Orthodox do about divorcees remarrying?
It allows them to get married a second or third time and they are performed out of the spiritual well-being of those involved.

What does the Catholic Church about remarrying those that have divorced from someone else?
It allows them to get a divorce but not remarry as they are still seen as married because a sacrament cannot be undone. It would be a sin.

What is annulment?
A declaration that a marriage was flawed and did not actually happen.
