WWW stands for World Wide Web and a system of Internet servers that support specially formatted documents. The documents are formatted in a markup language called HTML that supports links to other documents, as well as graphics & audio.

A program that searches for and identifies items in a database that correspond to keywords or characters specified by the user, used especially for finding particular sites on the World Wide Web.
