Mouth
Digestion starts here. When you chew food, Saliva mixes with the enzymes, which breaks down the food

Oesophagus
This links the mouth to the stomach.

Stomach
Here the food mixes with Protease enzymes and breaks down Proteins. In the stomach, there is a Muscular Tissue, which moves the stomach and churns the food. Hydrochloric acid is in the stomach to kill bacteria

Liver
The Liver makes Bile, which is broken into tiny droplets called Emulsitication

Pancreas
The Pancreas contains Glandular Tissue which produces 3 more enzymes

Large intestine
Water is absorbed here

Small intestine
Food is absorbed through the gut wall, into the blood

Rectum
Food comes out, clearing out all the bacteria
