How does oxygen diffuse in cells?
Oxygen diffuses in to the cells from a higher concentration outside to a lower concentration inside so cells can respire.
2 of 5
How can you increase the speed of diffusion?
By increasing th difference in concentration and by increasing the temperature.
3 of 5
What is a Visking Tube?
A partially permeable membrane that contains millions of tiny holes which only let small molecules, like water, diffuse through. Large molecules such as starch cannot pass the membrane.
