Aesthetics
A word used to describe the visual appearance of a design. This includes details about the texture, colour, visual weight and proportion.

The measurement of people to gather statistics on things such as height, limb size and weight. The Information is used to design products in proportion to the intended people.

The British Standards Institute, a government organisation that checks the safety of products in the United Kingdom.

The study of how people and products interact. Good ergonomics make a product easy to use.

Reduce, Reuse, Recycle, Repair, Rethink and Refuse.

Analysis
The study of a product or a system in order to find its strengths and weaknesses. Using this, designers can evaluate their design and decide what to improve.
