What is depression?
A mood disorder which causes anyone with it to feel a constant sadness and lack of interest in life

Most people diagnosed with clinical depression have high levels of monoamine oxidase A- an enzyme which breaks down neurotransmitters key to the brain (including serotonin, dopamine, norepinephrine)

Neurotransmitter responsible for keeping our mood stable.

Neurotransmitter responsible for being the chemical messenger, it helps send messages between nerve cells.
