Combines elements of all systems - some MPs elected in single member constituencies, remainder elected by Proportional Representation

Number of seats won is proportionate to the number of votes they received

What is a stable government?
Secure and hard to overthrow - majority party are happy and minority do not have the power to overthrow them

The act of voting by the electorate of a country or area
