Statistical infrequency
Someone is considered abnormal if they don't fit in with the statistical average e.g. a below average IQ is seen as a negative trait

A person's behaviour is abnormal if it differs from the unwritten rules of society e.g. not queuing or sitting by a stranger on a bus
