Negative approach
Health is defined as an 'absence of illness' , person can be considered healthy when they are not ill or have any signs of symptoms suggest they have a disease. Wdiely used in contemporary health care.

Based on negative approach, health probelms arise when abnormal changes occur at a biomedical level in human body.Health is lost or affected when the body malfunctions, is damaged or functions abnormally.Used by medical healthcare professionals.

A doctor will carryout, observations, tests, examinations to find an organise dviation that may be caused. Opposite to biomedical approach,focuses on the presence of certain qualitites and abilities, being physically fit, feeling happy & opptimistic

Being haelthy involves more than just not being well. A healthy practiotioner who uses this type of approach will carry out physical fitness tests, ask about diet, excersise, work out your BMI to check if you have the physical characteristics.

World health organisation definition. State of complete physical, mental, socail well-being, not merly the absence of disease or infirmity. Considers whole person. Incorporates both + & --. If a person feels happy, good, positive about themselves
